If you want to get a “real glimpse” of local life, Sami recommends to set your alarms.
”My favourite thing to do in any city, particularly a big city, is to wake up early, put on my walking gear and just go and roam through the empty streets,” Sami reveals.
“It’s really lovely to experience a city before it really wakes up.
“And before the streets are heaving with people and cars and honking horns.”

One of her favourite cities to do this in is New York. But it has also been a source of incredible memories in Paris, Florence, and a very special moment in Rome.
The Italian capital firmly holds the title as Sami’s “favourite city” to visit.
In fact, the last time Sami was in Rome, she stumbled across something that was “so beautiful” she “shed a tear”.
“I walked past the Pantheon and there was this couple there with a little Fiat, and I sat and watched them for an hour, doing the most romantic, beautiful wedding photo shoot,” she shares.
